Sandalwood is a highly aromatic tree that grows wild and is cultivated in Australia, India, Timor, and the Sunda Islands. Sandalwood has been treasured for over 4,000 years most notably in India. It is also used in Chinese and Tibetan medicine. The Egyptians would embalm their dead with sandalwood upon mummification.

Sandalwood essential oil has demonstrated the ability to inhibit breast cancer cells and destruct prostate cancer cells, making it a valuable asset in treatment. It is known to assist with chronic asthma, bronchitis, acne, dry skin, dry cough, act as an immune stimulant, has a cleansing action on sexual organs, laryngitis, calms muscle spasms, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, neuralgia, and respiratory infections. Both my husband and I LOVE the smell of this Sandalwood. Unfortunately, I wasted the whole bottle scenting homemade soap for gifts, but the bars smell great! I need to buy more to use for its therapeutic properties.

Love the scent but the dropper has issues

I ordered this oil for my anti aging blend. I absolutely LOVE the scent, but the dropper doesn't want to work. I ended up removing the dropper and using a pipette.

I love the smell of this oil! I use it in my lotion I use on my legs for my veins. I've noticed a drastic difference! I also like to diffuse it! It smells amazing! I like the fact that it inhibits cancer cells!

Dropper issues

While I agree with the other reviewers that it smells great, I am taking stars off for the difficulty of getting it out of the bottle. When I first opened the bottle I could not get any of the oil to come out. I took out the dropper to see if it was clogged, it did not look like it but I noticed the oil was thicker than most oils I have used. I sort of got the dropper to work but the next day, nothing would come out again. Maybe the dropper needs to be a bigger size? I have decided I just need to use pipettes to get the oil out of this bottle.

This is really great blended with patchouli, cedarwood and any citrus oil. I used orange and bergamot. Makes a great EO oil perfume.
