- Woodsy clean scentBeing from Texas, I had to own this and I am not disappointed. It is a very strong woodsy scent with a clean crisp undertone. It is very mellow and uplifting and one I will be using alone and in blends for mood improvement for sure.

- crisp, fresh scented oilI use cedarwood for so many blends (for health and scent purposes -- as you can't beat its woodsy intrigue) and it never disappoints. I have used many brands of cedarwood and this one stands up to them. Since I decided to explore the genus other than what I usually use I ordered the Texas. This one is subtly different and as another reviewer stipulated -- more like the cedar closet aroma. I like this oil and expect to use it in multiple ways.

- My favorite Cedarwood!I blend Cedarwood and lavender for an amazing night sleep.
Blend it with Clary Sage and it smells amazing and helps with anxiety.

- AromatherapyThis oil is the bomb in a diffuser but also makes for excellent bug repellant! I have chronic Lyme and I am so grateful for natural products to put on my exposed skin because I have become chemically sensitive to many things since the bacteria started causing neurological symptoms. - My favorite cedarThis is so much nicer smelling than the cedarwood atlas. Smelling this reminds me of opening the cedar lined hopechest my dad made for me.
The cedarwood atlas has a distinct scent, that is for many much like smell of cat urine. Not altogether pleasant. However, the atlas when blended particularly with peppermint can be quite nice.
I will have to research therapeutic benefits further, but on scent alone, texas wins by a country mile!Posted on

- Crisp and CleanThe Texas Cedarwood has a fresh and clean scent. I diffuse it in my house to enhance the aroma of the cedar lined living room. The smell is very calming. It is also good used in closets to keep out the spiders and moths. I put it on cottonballs and leave it in the corners of the closets. I also add this to my natural fly/bug repellant that I spray on my horses for trail riding . I mix a blend with a few other oils and it also helps to ward off ticks and therefor helps prevent the terrible lyme disease.
