Texas cedarwood essential oil is a prominent and fragrant variety of cedarwood autochthonous to the Southwest of America. Cedarwood has a long history of use throughout the world. The Egyptians would infuse the oil in the deceased in addition to using it for perfumes and incense. The Tibetans diffuse the oil throughout temples as it is considered centering and relaxing.
Texas cedarwood essential oil has a woodier and more mellow scent compared to its sister Himalayan variety. Immensely popular, this variety of Cedarwood is absolutely wonderful with a one-of-a-kind aroma, unlike anything you've ever sampled.
Texas cedarwood is sought after not only for its aromatic qualities but also for the therapeutic benefits it harnesses. It is considered an astringent which helps to tighten the skin and improve skin complexion. It is also thought to stimulate the immune system and purify the air. Its scent promotes tranquility and combats negative thoughts. Cedarwood oil is also considered an effective insect repellent.
Texas cedarwood is an essential addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, insect repellents, and aromatherapy.

By far my favorite of the Cedarwoods. The aroma encourages me to take deep relaxing breaths that make for a tranquil environment. Am so glad that my immune system get a boost in the process.
Best Cedarwood oil out there...hands down -must try!
Texas Cedarwood is a wonderful, woody scent that works great for relaxing and lulling me to sleep. My husband does not like lavender but has no complaints with the Cedarwood so I have been diffusing it at bedtime and getting excellent sleep!
I think of being sourrounded by a calm forest on a soothing day or maybe a bonfire. I use this for hair growth. I love it

I’m in love with all the cedarwoods!!!
Has a very earthy aroma to me.. was not quite what I was expecting but I’m sure I can find a great use for it
You just can’t go wrong with Cedarwood, even though it’s very interesting that “Texas Cedarwood” actually comes from a juniper tree. The scent is nice and crisp. Many uses too. Good for hair. Bug repellent.
this oil is nice smelling but make sure you notice it's a low aroma. wish it was stronger. I love the wonderful smell of cedar.
It works for hair growth along with some of the other things here in Jade bloom
This oil was the perfect companion to create a men's shave cream. Loved it and my husband who was my guinea pig is happy with the scent!
I love that I get to try new oils at a lower price point than full size bottles. Texas cedarwood smells great. Haven't had a chance to use it yet.
The smell is amazing and help me relax
Texas girl love her Texas cedarwood!
This smells just like East Texas after a fresh rain. it is very relaxing and calming. My mom lives in Michigan and loves this, it makes her feel happy and I have a friend who says it reminds her of being pregnant for the first time. It's crazy how smells can trigger such amazing thoughts and emotions! I sometimes sleep with this one in the diffuser.
Love the insect repellent benefits. I added this to my DIY insect repellent. Has warm woody aroma, but not too strong. This has great benefits that I have yet to try for skin tightening, and stimulating the immune system.
It so awesome!
This is very calming when diffused and is an excellent aromatic, for guys.
Jade Bloom's Texas Cedarwood Essential Oil is the best Cedarwood oil I have ever used! Its astringent scent brings on a sense of clarity. I enjoy using a single drop blended in a few drops of Jade Bloom's Argan Oil at least once a week since it does an excellent job of keeping acne at bay. The big bonus? I received this oil FREE thanks to the deal offered by Jade Bloom. I tell you...when they make you an offer of a FREE oil, you just CANNOT refuse!!

Being from Texas, I had to own this and I am not disappointed. It is a very strong woodsy scent with a clean crisp undertone. It is very mellow and uplifting and one I will be using alone and in blends for mood improvement for sure.
Cedarwood essential oil has been one of the most frequently used oils in our family. From being a staple in my bedtime routine to providing a wonderful aromatherapy release during work it’s versatility and affordability make it a “must have”. This family favorite has a sweet and wordy a
I use cedarwood for so many blends (for health and scent purposes -- as you can't beat its woodsy intrigue) and it never disappoints. I have used many brands of cedarwood and this one stands up to them. Since I decided to explore the genus other than what I usually use I ordered the Texas. This one is subtly different and as another reviewer stipulated -- more like the cedar closet aroma. I like this oil and expect to use it in multiple ways.
I blend Cedarwood and lavender for an amazing night sleep.
Blend it with Clary Sage and it smells amazing and helps with anxiety.
It is so calming. Love to diffuse it when we need the calming and peace that it brings.
This oil is the bomb in a diffuser but also makes for excellent bug repellant! I have chronic Lyme and I am so grateful for natural products to put on my exposed skin because I have become chemically sensitive to many things since the bacteria started causing neurological symptoms. Thank you JadeBloom
This is so much nicer smelling than the cedarwood atlas. Smelling this reminds me of opening the cedar lined hopechest my dad made for me.
The cedarwood atlas has a distinct scent, that is for many much like smell of cat urine. Not altogether pleasant. However, the atlas when blended particularly with peppermint can be quite nice.
I will have to research therapeutic benefits further, but on scent alone, texas wins by a country mile!
A nice clean aroma...I sometimes diffuse with lavender for a calming effect.
The Texas Cedarwood has a fresh and clean scent. I diffuse it in my house to enhance the aroma of the cedar lined living room. The smell is very calming. It is also good used in closets to keep out the spiders and moths. I put it on cottonballs and leave it in the corners of the closets. I also add this to my natural fly/bug repellant that I spray on my horses for trail riding . I mix a blend with a few other oils and it also helps to ward off ticks and therefor helps prevent the terrible lyme disease.
