I have used this on my baby with no adverse reactions; I actually used a tiny bit on a qtip to moisten the inside of her nostrils (which helped tremendously!). It is light but effective. I have added an extra drop of eucalyptus for my husband's sake! (Rubbed in hand, added euc, and then applied to his chest and upper back) Personally I use this directly inside my nostrils... I get nose bleeds and in the dry winter they are worse! I apply a little bit with a qtip as needed and no nosebleeds (moistens and helps with inflammation)! This jar lasts a really long time, too!

Advantages
Gentler smell and easy on the skin.
Comment
This is a gentle respiratory relief. Not an eye watering rub on my chest.
Love the scent of this product. Not sure that it really does anything as a chest rub. I prefer the oil itself in an inhaler. The glass jar is nice, but I have broken one and could not use the product due to glass fragments. :(
I like the way this smells and I was hoping it would help me breathe better.
Disadvantages
It doesn't have as strong of a scent as I thought it would. The small container makes it challenging/time consuming to apply, but easy to not over do it.
Not overpowering, perfect for the little ones. Excellent base if you need to add a bit more eucalyptus, peppermint, etc. Does not make your eyes water or lungs burn.

My husband and I both got a cold about the same time. I used this rub and allergease in an inhaler and I was feeling better days before he did. He was even taking medication.
