Essential Oil Blends for Mindfulness

Here at Jade Bloom we are putting a lot of emphasis on the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a form of meditation and a kind of presence that involves being in touch with your senses and experiencing them without judgment or interpretation. Mindfulness can be a very difficult skill to perfect, and we want to do whatever possible to help you practice mindfulness in order to strengthen your mind and body, get through difficult times in your life, and overcome or cope with anxiety and depression. Several of Jade Bloom’s essential oil blends are specifically formulated to assist in the different aspects of mindfulness. We have compiled a list of our favorite blends so you can determine which is the right choice for you to assist with your mindfulness journey.



Uplifting is an emotional support blend. It contains essential oils of Siam Wood, Spearmint, Marjoram, Basil, Grapefruit, and Cedarwood Atlas. This blend is earthy, herbaceous, and citrusy and is intended to provide support during emotionally difficult times. A negative headspace is not conducive to mindfulness, so Uplifting is wonderful for helping you escape that negative headspace and creating an atmosphere of peace that allows for true mindfulness.



Evolve is a blend for change. It contains essential oils of Cedarwood Himalaya, Ho Wood, Frankincense Sacra, Cedarwood Atlas, Clary Sage, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Neroli. If we allow it into our lives, practicing mindfulness is a wonderful opportunity for growth. Evolve can help that process along and allow you to accept that change and subsequent growth. To use, you can diffuse during a meditative practice or take a few inhales directly from the bottle during a negative emotional experience.



Grounding is an emotional support blend. It contains Tobacco absolute and essential oils of Vetiver, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Copaiba, and Sweet Orange. The grounding effects of this blend are perfect for pairing with any mindfulness practices. In order to be truly mindful within a moment, it is important that you are also present and grounded within that space and time. Grounding is best used when diffused in a space where you are practicing mindfulness or other meditative practices.



Well-being is a daily blend. It contains essential oils of Ho Wood, Frankincense Serrata, Ravensara, Blue Tansy Flower, Lemon, and Camphor. Well-being creates an overall sense of peace and calm when utilized, creating the perfect environment for practicing mindfulness. Well-being can also increase strength, courage, and self-esteem. It can be used by being diluted and rubbed on your wrists, diffused in a space, or added to a massage oil for an uplifting experience. 



Gratitude is a blend for appreciation. It contains Sweet Orange, Coriander, and Juniper Berry. If you are focusing on all the things in life that you are unhappy about, you are not in the right mindset to achieve mindfulness. This blend helps you reach a place of gratitude and peace to cultivate mindfulness. Gratitude is best used when diffused in the morning or at night.



Sparkle is a liveliness blend. It contains Sweet Orange, Juniper Berry, Lemon, Grapefruit, Mandarin, Bergamot, Tangerine, Clementine, and Vanilla Oleoresin. This blend is intended for personal enrichment and mental nourishment. It is excellent for creating a space of peace and comfort for meditative and mindfulness practices. Delight is an uplifting blend. It contains Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Lemon, Tangerine, Palmarosa, and Jasmine Sambac. Unwind is a relaxing blend. It contains Bergamot, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Grapefruit Pink, and Gurjum. Tension doesn’t allow for mindfulness, and this tension-relieving blend helps assist in creating that relaxed atmosphere required for finding mindfulness and moments of peace in your life. It can be diffused, applied in a diluted form to the skin, or smelled directly from the bottle or personal inhaler stick to gain the benefits.
