Melissa essential oil is distilled at our partner distillery in France and comes from a perennial herb in the mint family. This is one of the rarest and costly herbs to distill, but the health benefits and heavenly lemony scent make it one of the most sought-after essential oils to own. Studies show that Melissa Officinalis is very beneficial for your skin and can help support your immune system. It has a sedating effect that studies show to calm the heartbeat and palpitations. Melissa is also used to correct menstrual problems and is excellent in fighting cold sores and fungal infections.

The flowers are very attractive to bees; the name 'Melissa' is the Greek word for honeybee and is also know as "lemon balm' or in Hebrew 'Bal-Smin" meaning 'Chief of oils.'

Apply to cold sores at the first sign of an outbreak to speed up the healing process and fight off viral infections

My son has started getting ...

My son has started getting cold sores more frequently, and they were taking over a week to completely heal. I have used other essential oils for cold sores before with mixed results. After researching Melissa oil, I decided to try it. I stumbled upon Jade Bloom oils while googling where to purchase Melissa oil. I was happy to find an easy to apply, already diluted Melissa oil that was not terribly expensive. My son applies the roller at least once a day, even if he does not have a cold sore. He has not had a cold sore since he started using the Melissa oil roller. When he recently caught a stomach bug, he did not get a cold sore! (He always gets a cold sore if he is sick.) This was the first time he was sick and did not get a cold sore! I highly recommend this roller to help prevent a cold sore.

Advantages

At first, it’s so strong, it’s hard to bear. But, then....it’s just good.
