HOW TO USE

Help PREVENT hair loss by massaging a half of pipette of PREVENT into scalp for 30 to 45 seconds while lowering head below heart to help blood circulate to hair follicles.

PRODUCT TIPS

• For best results massage scalp while head is lower than your heart to allow blood to more easily circulate to the hair follicles.
• If skin irritation occurs reduce daily use to once or discontinue use altogether.
• PREVENT may be used as a hair masque or left in all day.  If washing, allow product to remain on scalp for 15 to 20 minutes.

Q: Is PREVENT really comprised of 100% pure essential oils or is there something else added?

A: Yes, PREVENT contains the highest quality essential oils in a unique blend specifically formulated for maintaining and restoring natural hair color.  We do not use chemicals, additives, pesticides, or dilute our oils in any way.  All of our raw ingredients are selectively sourced from farms that we visit and audit on a regular basis to ensure we use only non-GMO organic materials in our distilling.

Q: How do each of the oils listed in the ingredients help with hair health and growth?

A: Each oil plays a key role in perfecting this blend and all oils have known scientific research for maintaining and restoring hair color.  Read below to see how each contributes to this unique blend.

Castor Oil -- This oil has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and is high in Vitamin E, minerals, proteins and fatty acids of omega 6 and 9.  It’s antibacterial and anti-fungal properties make it beneficial against follliculitus, dandruff and scalp infections and its ricinoleic acid content helps increase circulation to the scalp and improve hair growth.  Ricinoleic acid is also said to help balance scalp pH which can also help replenish the scalp’s natural oils and undo some of the damage of harsh chemical hair products.  The antioxidants in castor oil also support the keratin in hair and help make hair stronger, smoother and less frizzy.

Fractionated Coconut Oil -- A carrier oil used in Ayurvedic medicine for enhancing hair growth all by itself. Fractionated coconut is simply Coconut oil that has had the largest-chain molecules 'fractionated' from the smaller ones—this allows the oil to stay liquid at room temperature.  Coconut oil is highly nutritive, excellent for all types of scalp & hair and plays an important role in our PREVENT formulation for stimulating the hair follicles.

Cedarwood Texas --  Cedarwood Texas essential oil can stimulate the hair follicles and increase circulation to the scalp. This contributes to hair growth and slows hair loss. Herbalists and aromatherapists have recommended Cedarwood essential oils for years to treat hair loss, thinning hair, and various types of alopecia.  Additionally, Cedarwood helps reduce dry or flaky scalp. It stimulates the scalp and increases circulation.

 Thyme -- Bacteria, fungi and other germs can accumulate on the scalp, cause scalp infections and lead to hair fall. Thyme essential oil contains antiseptic properties that wards off germs or bacteria which clog up hair follicles and cause hair to fall out.  There are many different types of thyme but the thyme that is ideal & safer for thinning hair is white thyme because it contains fewer phenols than red thyme.

Carrot Seed -- Carrots are a healthy root vegetable rich in vitamins, copper, manganese, potassium, beta-carotenes and biotin, one of the vitamins essential for healthy hair growth. Additionally, the other nutrients help guard against split ends, moisturize dry scalp, enhance shiny hair, strengthen hair from the roots and promotes healthy cell growth. It also has a high natural SPF, which protects hair from the suns UV rays.
