Petitgrain essential oil is derived from the leaves of the bitter orange tree. It is commonly used in perfumes and colognes. It has bright scent suitable for many applications.

Petitgrain essential oil assists with common skin ailments such as acne, oily skin, and enlarged pores. It halts excessive perspiration, acts as a deodorant, calms muscular spasms, encourages relaxed breathing, is used in convalescence, assists with respiratory infections, asthma, arthritis, and palpitations. It is also reputed to be anxiolytic and helps to surmount mental fatigue and exhaustion.

Petitgrain essential oil is considered to act as an antiseptic, antidepressant, antispasmodic, deodorant, nervine, stimulant, and a tonic.

Petitgrain essential oil is a unique addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, incense, and candles.

Love the fresh scent of Petitgrain !

I love petitgrain's fresh scent.....it reminds me of Spring ! I used it instead of Neroli oil in my skin care blend if I'm running low on Neroli. I am also going to use it in a DIY deodorant/ antiperspirant that I want to try.

It's the depth of winter but it felt like spring when I just smelled this aroma! It's is like a newly grown leaf! I bought it as I was just diagnosed with arthritis in my fingers. I am looking forward to mixi.ngbwith lemon and cedarwod to relax me and keep my spirit up thru these gray days! I will then create a an oil blend to help w this arthritis.. Have more research to do! I love the Petitgrain oil ! It has a very similar scent to Neroli Oil which is very expensive., so I sometimes use it to replace my Neroli oil in my anti aging recipe or mix it half & half with the neroli oil to save a little money. It has the same luxurious feel to it as well.
