Citronella essential oil is an excellent addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, insect repellent, and aromatherapy.

I love to have this around the house to make bug spray and to make summer scents,
I purchased citronella & made a homemade bug spray for summer fast in the yard, walks, etc, with the grandkids, so they weren't being sprayed with all the chemicals when we were outside. Love the sweet lemony scent & so did the kiddos!
Great for mosquito
Love this smell very refreshing
Works great as a bug repellant.
Not a fan of citronella but I do like the aroma of this one! Not to strong and a touch sweeter. Good job!
I was outside with my husband last night. Forgetting that I had Citronella oil, We sprayed ourselves down with bug spray. We sweet still getting bit by mosquitoes. Then I remember I had this oil. We put a few drops around our ankles and wrists and from that point forward not more bug bu
I bought this oil to make a natural insect repellent. It smells like citronella should smell, and it seems to do the job. I'm pleased with this oil.

I created my own bug spray using Citronella Essential Oil mixed with fractionated coconut oil and it kept mosquitoes away all night! Great product.
This citronella is perfect for keeping the Summer bugs away. I put a few drops on my clothes when I'm sitting outside. I also use it in my flea & tick spray for my dogs
I used this to prevent the awful mosquitoes. it worked great!
It works great for diy bug spray.
I worry about putting extra chemicals on my dogs, and ordered this oil to make bandanas that the dogs can wear in the summer to help keep the creeping crawlies off of them in the yard. Not only has it been great, but the smell is so smooth that we even let them wear it in the house. I love that my pets are safe and so are we!

I mix this oil with aloe Vera gel and use generously on myself and my daughter. We moved to Texas a few months ago in the summertime and neither of us has been bitten by ANYTHING! No chiggers, mosquitoes or ants.
Great oil great ! So much more affordable than Yl or dt. Thank you. Works great to keep the bugs off and smells amazing. I am so pleased and if this isn't strong enough they have a great bug spray!
I love this oil, I made a safe EO blend with other jade bloom oils mimicing repel but with a couple more of my favs, I use it on my dogs and us of course, bugs are crazy bad after a summer rain in Montana and sometimes deet which I hate using doesnt even work but citronella does!!
Unless you use this for a specific purposes like a bug repellant, the fragrance is just overbearing and unpleasant at that. It is compared to Lemongrass - same with that- over powering. I tried blending to reduce or change up the fragrance. Doesn't work.
Citronella is just not for me as fragrance- but I do not doubt it's helpful qualities.
I have been using Jade Bloom oils since just a couple of months after they got the company started and I have to say I could not be more pleased with the quality of these oils. I started out using Young Living Oils and I was convinced there were no oils out there as good as theirs, but then I discovered Jade Bloom and since I ordered my first bottle I have never looked back. Sure, there are a few oils that Jade doesn't have yet that I still order from them, but Jade Blooms are just as good as the others and at a much lower price. I have compared oils side by side and alternated use and Jade has stood up to the test every single time. These oils have literally changed my life. I use them every day. Also, the customer service at Jade is simply the best customer service I have ever had with any company. They are very prompt to answer all phone calls and emails. I haven't had many issues, mostly some leaky bottles, but the few that I have had were immediately addressed and replaced and/or compensated. I am a loyal customer for life and look forward to discovering more oils to come ! Give Jade a try ! You will be glad you did !
Citronella smells really really good. I add a drop around my porch to keep the bugs away.
A bug repellent that smells good. Everyone in my family wants to be sprayed with a citronella spray too.
I use this in my homemade, all-natural bug spray and it works great! I love the smell!
Used this all summer to keep mosquitos away !
I also made big spray with this. Amazing!
I love Jade Bloom's citronella! While camping, I used this citronella in a diffuser just inside the rv door, and the mosquitos did not want to brave the oil to make an entrance. I also used it topically while outside, and it worked well as a mosquito repellant.
I made some bug spray with this and it seems to be working very well!
