Verbena essential oil also referred to as Zanzibar or Cape Verbena, is from the Verbenaceae family of South Africa. It is highly sought after for its wonderfully bright and sweet fragrance. Highly recommended to increase skin vibrancy and as many essential oils are, highly antiseptic.

I love all Jade Bloom products. They have it all...skin care, hair care, lotions and potions...and of course essential oils. I heard that this particular oil has many wonderful properties to help support different ailments. However, our grandparents were correct...things that are good for you rarely smell good. To me, this oil smells like an entire cat colony crawled into a bottle. It is not the same scent and Lemon Verbena.
I've only tried this in my diffuser & car diffuser so far but it is a lovely floral f4agrance. I accidentally dripped some on my t-shirt & all day long I could smell it. Best thing was it didn't leave an oil stain & I got many compliments of 'what perfume do you have on?' I just smiled! (I did recommend JB though.)
I don't really care for the smell but I will tolerate it because it is awesome for restless leg syndrome or any other tingling you may have going on. I will definitely buy again when this is empty .
I had a self made perfume blend that was not quite there and when I added verbena and waited a few days -- voila! It was there. This oil added a very unique subtle undertone that took the blend to another level of sophistication and complexity that I was seeking in this perfume blend. You can definitely tell that it is there but it does not overwhelm the entire blend like something galbanum might.
