Let's be honest... most of us treat our scalp like an afterthought.
We spend time on our hair and almost none on the skin it grows from. Root & Bloom is our invitation to change that. Ten quiet minutes, a little oil, and a moment that's just yours.
The best part? It's basically a free upgrade.
The XO ionic hair dryer is $219 on its own. For just $6 more, you get the amla oil, Bulgarian lavender, rosemary, and our silicone scalp scrubber. Everything you need to start the ritual, already chosen for you.
Why we put this bundle together
At Jade Bloom, we care about the whole routine, not just the oils. We chose each piece here because it earns its spot in a real scalp ritual, and because you shouldn't have to hunt down five different products from five different places to get started.
What's in the box
- Amla Oil, 2 oz: The rich, earthy base of your scalp blend. Part of hair care traditions for generations.
- Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil, 10 ml: Soft, floral, and calming. It turns a scalp massage into a wind-down moment.
- Rosemary Essential Oil, 10 ml: Fresh and herbaceous, a longtime favorite in scalp rituals.
- Jade Bloom Silicone Scalp Scrubber: Gently lifts buildup and makes your massage feel like a salon treat at home.
- XO High Performance Ionic Hair Dryer: Professional 1875W motor with ionic technology that cuts drying time in half. Includes a magnetic diffuser, smoothing nozzle, and travel carry case. 3 heat and 2 speed settings, a cool shot button, and a self-cleaning function. UL certified, with a 1-year warranty. Available in Rose Gold & Pink or Graphite & Silver.
Why a hair dryer in a scalp oil bundle?
It's a fair question, and we asked it ourselves. Jade Bloom was built on pure oils and natural wellness, so why add a dryer?
Because care doesn't stop at what you put on your scalp. You can use the gentlest oils in the world and then blast your hair with a harsh dryer every morning. The XO was made for the other half of the ritual: getting you dry, smooth, and out the door with less time and less heat. It's engineered locally in Utah, UL certified, and backed by real US-based customer service. Same promise we make with everything: quality you can verify, and people who actually pick up the phone.
So what does "ionic" actually mean?
Good question, because it sounds like marketing and it's really just science.
- Water gets broken into smaller droplets. Ionic dryers release negative ions that help break water into smaller droplets, which evaporate faster. That's how the XO cuts drying time in half.
- Less time, less heat. The shorter you're blasting your hair, the less heat it's exposed to. Your hair stays happier, and so do your mornings.
- Smoother, shinier hair. Wet hair carries a positive charge, which is part of what makes strands puff up and frizz. Negative ions help balance that out, so the cuticle lies flatter and hair looks smooth and shiny.
- Better for your scalp ritual. After oiling and massaging, you'll want a gentler finish, not a hot, harsh one. Ionic drying is designed for exactly that.
Why these ingredients?
We love a good ritual, and we love when tradition and curiosity meet.
- Amla has been part of hair care traditions for generations. We chose it as the base of your blend because it's rich, nourishing, and made for slow, mindful scalp massage.
- Rosemary is one of the most studied essential oils in hair care. Early research is promising, and it's a longtime favorite in scalp rituals for its fresh, herbaceous scent.
- Bulgarian lavender is here for the soft side of the ritual. It's calming and floral, and it turns a scalp massage into a moment of quiet.
We're not here to promise miracles. We're here to give you a thoughtful routine, quality ingredients, and ten minutes that are all yours.
Why you'll love it
- A $219 dryer with a whole ritual added for $6 more. That's the math, and we like it too.

- It's a real self-care moment. Aromatherapy, massage, and a little quiet. Your scalp (and your nervous system) will thank you.
- It makes a great gift. Perfect for the friend, mom, sister, or partner who gives and gives and never stops to refill her own cup.
- Built to last. UL certified, with a 1-year warranty and US-based support.
Your Root & Bloom ritual
- Blend. Per tablespoon of amla oil, add 2 drops rosemary and 1 drop lavender. That's about a 1% dilution, a gentle place to start.
- Massage. Work the oil into your scalp with your fingertips, then use the silicone scrubber in slow circles for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Rest. Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes, or longer if you like.
- Wash. Shampoo and rinse as usual.
- Dry. Finish with your ionic dryer, then hit the cool shot button to lock in your style.
Good to know
- Essential oils are for external use only and must always be diluted. Never apply them undiluted to your scalp.
- Do a patch test before first use, and discontinue if irritation occurs.
- Keep away from eyes, ears, and mucous membranes.
- Rosemary is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing, or for people with epilepsy or high blood pressure. If you have a medical condition, please check with your healthcare provider first.
- Keep oils out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not use the hair dryer near water. Keep the air intake (on the handle) clear while drying, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
FAQ
Can I use the oils straight from the bottle? Nope. Essential oils always need a carrier, which is exactly what the amla oil is for.
What does the ionic dryer actually do? It uses negative ions to help break water into smaller droplets, so hair dries faster with less heat, and the cuticle lies smoother for a shinier look.
Which dryer colors are available? Rose Gold & Pink or Graphite & Silver. Choose your color at checkout.
Will this work for all hair types? The dryer includes a diffuser for curls and volume and a smoothing nozzle for sleek blowouts. For the oil, do a patch test and start with a small amount to see how your hair and scalp respond.
Is this a good gift? It's one of our favorites for the "you deserve a break" person in your life.
