I have many, many JB products and I love most of them. This, though, was unfortunately a miss for me. It would make an excellent second-day refresher for thick, course, curly or dry hair. But for my straight, fine, oily head it didn't do a thing. I woke up the following morning just as oily as I would have been had I not used anything. I was hopeful it would be a good replacement for the chalky aerosols, but not for me. It does smell clean and fresh and isn't overwhelming like the drug store brands, though, which I really liked.

Advantages

This works so much better than all the others I have tried. I use it as a refresher the next day or day after. It gives my hair a volume and makes my hair so soft too. It doesn't leave any kind of film behind that I have to try brush out over and over again. It smells so good.

Disadvantages

If you have long hair you may run out quick. It needs to come in a bigger bottle.

I got this in the collectors club and finally gave it a try. My hair was needing washing so I sprayed about 8 sprays on the top of my head. Used my fingertips to rub it in good. In the morning, my hair was fresh looking so I styled it and started a normal day. It works best overnight when it has time to dry and set in. I haven't had good luck using it within an hour before styling. Maybe, I just lost patience cause it takes awhile to dry. But it smells good. I like the natural ingredients and how nourishing and cleansing it is for my scalp and hair follicles.
