Cypress is an evergreen native to the Mediterranean. It has refreshingly pine-like scent and is the epitome of what fresh and crisp smells like. It is used in contemporary colognes, personal care products, and aromatherapy.

Cypress essential oil has astringent properties which help to tighten loose muscles and skin including varicose veins, ruptured capillaries, and hemorrhoids alike. Its astringent effects also prevent the loss of hair (coupled with its cleansing properties, allowing your hair follicles to be clean of debris blocking growth). Cypress essential oil has a fresh scent which works as a natural deodorant, eliminating bacteria and imparting a clean sensation.

Cypress essential oil is an invigorating and recommended addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, insect repellents and aromatherapy.

I love all the trees! I bought cypress to add to my varicose vein blend in Jade Bloom's unscented lotion base. Love having my house smell like a forest when I diffuse it.

best for my cough

Every fall I end up with a horrible head cold and sinus infection. With all the drainage this combination causes I end up with a terrible cough. I put a drop of Cypress oil at the base of my throat and it helps relieve my cough. Mmy cousin who was having the same problem and it was helping her so I gave her my last bottle. Guess what I got when I got. Ordering extra today. For me it is a wonderful product. I share lots of my oils and so many are using them and they are discovering the old works, and its ok to use the old with the new.
