Advantages

Love, love, LOVE the smell of cloves!! I adore this as a nice, Christmas-y smell, especially along with cinnamon. It's so good.

Disadvantages

I use this only in hand soaps or just a quick whiff from the bottle, since I own a cat. Cats don't like spice smells - and the spice essential oils can be harmful to them. However, that's my fault and has nothing to do with the oil itself. ;)

I really like this scent of clove, but my hubs loves ikr even more! It's not overwhelmingly strong like some clove scents are. I was expecting to smell and it be extremely strong. It's not which is great! The smell is definitely very pronounced. It does for sure smell like clove, but a very pleasant fullness scent! My husband could not say enough about this! His mother died in a horrible traumatic car crash when he was 14. He doesn't talk much about her without having a hard time. When I opened this he had a huge smile and said "that smells just like my mom" he went on to talk about happy memories about her with no emotional Stress. His mom used to love clove scents. Something I never knew. He's never shared memories of her with me because it's been too hard and I believe this essential oil will bring great emotional healing for him. It was so wonderful to experience! We are diffusing it in my home right now with orange & lemon. My house smells amazing! Not to mention the mood my hubs is in without him knowing why ;) thank you! We 100% love this essential oil & definitely recommend it.

I used in in a blend for stomach pain relief and worked great. It has a nice cinnamon smell.

man, I am in love with clove, I was using protect but switched to just clove to use in my toothpaste as an added boost. I feel so much cleaner and my gums stopped bleeding. I credit that all to the clove. It is a bit strong so start small and work your way up.
