Blue Tansy is a wonderful oil for soothing irritations of the skin, muscles, and emotions. It is a very powerful oil and it is important to be careful with it. Used correctly it is a fabulous addition to any collection of single oils. This one from Jade Bloom has a wonderful aroma and is a beautiful shade of blue, just as it should be. It is a higher quality than any others I have come across. I like using Blue Tansy especially for a muscle soothing massage oil recipe I have come across. For sore muscles, it is wonderful: 7 drops blue tansy essential oil 3 drops patchouli essential oil 4 drops sandalwood essential oil 6 drops lavender essential oil Add essential oils to a 2 ounce bottle. Fill the bottle with fractionated coconut oil. Massage onto sore muscles.

I was lucky to be able to get a bottle of blue tansy while it was still in stock (it was only in stock for less than a week before selling out). There has been a world wide shortage of this very hard to obtain oil for many years due to draught, and maybe other factors. I love a blend from an MLM company that contains Blue Tansy, Rosewood, Spruce and Frankincense, but they are almost always out of stock on it, due of course to the shortage of Tansy. I picked up this bottle so I could attempt to make my own comparable blend. This is a SUPER dark blue oil, and I made up a blend using these oils. I only used 6 drops of Tansy, but next time, I think 3 drops would do even better. Tansy is one to dilute very well, and the blend is so dark blue with 6 drops, I will dilute it further with more carrier oil to apply. Love the soft scent and the super rich dark blue hue. LIterally a drop of this in most blends or lotions or salves will lend a lovely soft blue colour. Love it! Thank you for sourcing this precious oil.
