Reviews for Patchouli 100% Pure Essential Oil

My only prior experience with patchouli was living in San Diego in the early 90's studying massage therapy. I bought a bottle at a flea market that lasted years and seemed awesome. Very strong, earthy, powerful. Can't say the same for this one. This from JB smelled more of a chemical smell like rubbing alcohol, not that great. I don't think I got a bad sample since I could faintly note a similar scent within Lucid. So not what I was remembering or expecting. This may be normal, but I would buy from another company next time and if it's like JB's then patchouli is not something I would buy again. (N.B.-This review is based on the 1ml sample size when first released. I love the size, that it is glass, and has an orifice reducer. This is much better than the thin long glass vial samples from other companies that don't pour out. Until it all comes out all over, and all at once, and your sample is wasted after just trying to get a drop or two. This was much better but still very very difficult to even get a drop out, especially exactly where you want it. So no waste but still frustrating. If the reducer was improved it would be perfect as the size is excellent.)

I love this patchouli! it smells so wonderful, a very earthy, natural oil. I know people either hate this one or love it.

Jade Bloom's Patchouli is a great smell. Much better than other brands I have smelled.

Both the smell and the benefits are potent and I love Jade Bloom's patchouli!

This is in a blend I enjoy, and I wanted to find out what it was like alone. I prefer it in a blend.
