OK ya'll so this is achaully a question... I know I'm allergic to Juniper Berry because it was in the air once and I had a coughing fit.Couldn't stop or breath! I tried this oil though in blends and it didn't seem to irrate my allergies. I want to try this oil by its self but I've been really hesitant to do it because of possible really bad coughing fits. But again,I tried it in blends and I was fine. So since I was ok with it in blends do you think I can use this oil by it's self or no? I LOVE pine and woodsy scents and this oil seems like something I would like...

It sounds like you may be sensitive to the potency of the oil. In the instance where you have used it aromatically with a respiratory reaction, the best course of action would be to avoid using it again so as not to trigger that reaction again. However, it sounds like you would like to give it a try because it hasn't bothered you at much smaller amounts when mixed with other oils. If you use it topically we would suggest testing it at a 1% dilution or less and monitor for reaction. When diffusing, it may be best to incorporate it with other oils and diffuse it and intermittently. Again, please be sure to monitor yourself for reaction and discontinue at first sign of reaction. I use this oil for the veins on my legs. They are disappearing! The smell is so heavenly! I also use it on my sore back and achy muscles!

I use juniper as part of a blend to help reduce the symptoms of my mother's tinnitus - wonderful product - the usual high quality oil of Jade Bloom!
