Like many, I started by using coconut oil as my carrier. Then I thought cucumber would be nice with DIY skincare concoctions because of its hydrating qualities. I received grapeseed oil as a freebie - yay! love those freebies. I really like that the grapeseed basically has no scent & doesn't alter the scent of other oils in my blends. Glad to have it in my collection
