Advantages

Amyris has a lot of benefits for the skin, and I love it for that reason. I absolutely love the smell of Sandalwood, but that is a very expensive oil, so I got the Amyris as a cheaper option. It doesn't smell like Sandalwood, but it does have a pleasant, soft woody smell that also has a hint of something that makes me think of a barbeque.

Disadvantages

Not everyone would like the smell. It's not spice, and it's not just wood. It does have a slightly odd tinge to it.

Works well for skin

I love this oil and the price isn't bad. It smells nice and blends great with other oils. I love to blend it with clove, cedarwood, frankicense, ylang ylang, etc. I wish it was made in a 30ML size!

Amyris is one of the newest additions to my essential oil toolbox. I love the aroma, and I use this in many diffuser blends that call for Sandalwood, because I don't have the luxury oil. Even if I had sandalwood, I would still enjoy using this one, and can do so guilt free :)

I like to use this amyris as a base in a blend in the diffuser.

I’ve tried several other “cheaper” brands of sandalwood but they don’t touch this! I love how it’s so versatile and blends well with so many other oils! I wanted to give this a go because the other was kinda out of my price range right now and I’m extremely pleased with the light scent it has. Next time though I think I will try the pricier one and see the difference.
