Cade essential oil, also known as prickly juniper, is a shrub of which the twigs and wood are steam distilled. Cade is related to Juniper; it is distilled from the wood of a shrub, has a dark color, and a smokey aroma. Many Jade Bloom team members claim it smells like barbeque sauce. Most commonly, Cade essential oil is used for its anti-microbial and dermatological benefits. Cade treats psoriasis, eczema, ringworm, seborrhea, wounds, herpes, dandruff, lice, loss of hair, and other scalp problems.
Cade essential oil is an excellent addition to cosmetic applications, personal care formulations, soaps, perfumery, insect repellent, and aromatherapy.

A great addition to my collection!
i like it !
Cade really does smell like barbecue oil – I have not yet figured out what to do with it, but I’ll bet it will be just the right ingredient to balance another oil.
Holy smokes does this smell like Bbq sauce! I just received it today and all I can think of is barbecue sauce. Can't wait to try it!
Smells just like bbq!
Smells like bbq, bought it but haven't really used it yet, but I enjoy the smell of bbq.
Ready for winter and outdoor cooking with this one. BBQ scent! YES!
I'm very intrigued by this oil. It has such a deep, warm color to it. Yes, it smells like BBQ, very interesting. I can't wait to explore this one more!
Love the BBQ wood smell
THIS REALLY DOEA SMELLS LIKE BBQ..
I can't say that his one has a very good odor. I can't even stand to use on my skin because it smells so bad.
This smells just like a BBQ. I can open the bottle downstairs, and people upstairs start asking when dinner will be ready. It's potent.
I actually bought Cade oil for two reasons.
The first, I had heard how great it is for skin conditions.
The second: I was looking for oils to smell like bacon-gross, but true.
This oil filled both bills.
I made lotion bars with Cade, Vetiver, and Coffee essential oils. This smells like bacon, all right! Not sure I love the smell, but it was something that just had to be done. However, these bacon lotion bars work great for itchy, dry, inflamed, red, miserable, skin.
The scent of Cade is kind of hard to get used to, but, go for the therapeutic value of this oil, you won't be sorry.
This oil is VERY strong smelling and you WILL absolutely smell like a BBQ!
Tho - this oil works exceptionally well for skin irritations and inflammation. It can be mixed with other oils and this oil is best used sparingly, worth every single cent and sniff.
I can't stand the smell
